Archival and Oral History Open-Call
Who
We are a collective of artists, ecologists, and archivists of color working to amplify the conditions of Black and brown communities in Altadena, California, in the aftermath of the Eaton fires.
What
We are creating a living archive of oral recordings, photos, and videos to memorialize the culture of Altadena. Our goal is to create a space for people to self-direct the narrative of the unique city many in our collective call home. At the moment, there is mourning and displacement, but eventually, there will be regeneration.
If you have memories of growing up in Altadena, we would be honored to hear your story.
